On this mountain ride you will be riding through the endless pastures and rocky trails of Bistra Mountain to a traditional sheep farm, and you will have the opportunity to face the highest pick of Medenica ( 2136 m ) with an incredible view of the most picturesque side of Stogovo massif (2,218 m ).
By visiting the old sheep farm, you will get closer to the shepherd’s life and you will have the possibility to get familiar with the shepherds’ daily routines that include the process of making white cheese and yoghurt in a traditional, Galichnik way. Coming back at the horse ranch, a picnic lunch will be provided, including fresh Galichnik cheese from the farm, homemade pie, fresh vegetables and a shot of rakija - Macedonian way.

NOTE: On this ride you will be riding Balkan mountain horses, hardy and surefooted in the steep terrain and also, half-bred Arabs. We can accommodate any rider level, from beginner to advanced.
